Introducing the new CBSG2012 Directors!
The Centre for BioSystems Genomics Steering Committee has recently appointed a new team of directors following the departure of Prof. Willem Stiekema, the founding director. Dr Robert Hall (on the right in the photo) has been appointed Managing Director and he will be supported by Prof. Francine Govers (left) as Programme Director and Prof. Gerco Angenent (centre) as Director of Technology and External Affairs. Both Francine and Gerco hold personal chairs at Wageningen University, in Phytopathology and Molecular Biology respectively. Robert shall continue to work 3 days / week for CBSG and both Francine and Gerco 1 day / week. This team shares the responsibility for the continued success and sustainability of CBSG2012.
