New publication in Nature!
In the most recent issue of Nature you will find a paper from Harro Bouwmeester's group. This paper reveals the first step governing strigolactone transport in plants. Transporter mutants show both reduced mycorrhiza symbiosis and a modified branching phenotype in the plant. This work continues to demonstrate how strigolactones function as true phytohormones of potentially great importance regarding crop - related traits.
