Recently, Mark Aart's group published on the identification of 2 transcription factors which play an important role in Zinc homeostasis in plants. Understanding how plants respond to micronutrient deficiency is essential if we are to design better strategies for maintaining crop yields or marginal lands and also regarding important food biofortification and phytoremediation issues.
